16 ft Octahale

Description:
The 16ft Octahale is designed exactly the same as the 20ft Octahale, except it is 4ft smaller in diameter. It has 220 sqft of interior space. The 16ft Octahale can be ordered with an optional 8ft-porch roof and a 6ft wrap around deck. The wrap around deck ads another 370 sqft. The deck can be used for lounging, storage, an outdoor bathroom or additional living areas if parts of it are screened in. 

The interior is designed to be a complete studio home, including a living area, bed, kitchen, closet, and bathroom.

The 16ft Octahale accommodates up to a queen size bed, which is placed in the center of the octagon. The Octahale is designed for a kitchen including a stove, refrigerator, counter and sink. The bathroom has a vanity, sink, and toilet. There is an optional skylight in the peak of the roof, which further brightens the interior with natural light. The 16ft Octahale can be used for a vacation rental, primary residence, guest cottage, or yoga or mediation room. 

The Octahales can be attached to each other to make a series of modular octagons. They can be attached in a row or in a triangle with an interior courtyard or living area with a roof. Two octagons attached together can be designed with the kitchen and living area in one octagon and the bathroom and bedroom in the other octagon. Three octagons attached together could be designed with the kitchen and bathroom in one octagon, the living area in the second octagon, and a master bedroom and bathroom in the third. 

The attached octagons can be the all the same size or they can be a combination of different sizes: 20ft, 16ft, or 12ft. It is also possible to attach a 10ft square Podhale to an Octahale. The bamboo designs of the houses will match well and provide consistent integrity of design.
