Homestead Hale is 200 sqft interior with an optional 9ft porch roof with columns and railings which cover a 6ft lanai adding 420 sqft covered area. This lanai can be screened in and used for lounging, storage or living area.

Called Homestead Hale because it is the ideal size for the first building to move on to new land or retirement property. Building codes in many counties, such as agricultural zoned land in Hawaii, may allow buildings 200 sq feet or less without needing building permits (check with your building department). This is a great advantage for quickly moving onto your new land.

200 interior sqft gives plenty of room for bed, tables, chairs, sofa and kitchenette. Add a 6 foot+ paved stone lanai under the 9 foot overhang roof and you have 420 sqft more covered space that can be screened in for additional space and storage. A nearby composting toilet and outdoor covered shower and sink are homestead companions.

No need to camp out in a temporary house- you can live in style and grace. These beautiful bamboo homes are easy to assemble in a few days. They are simply bolted together and can be disassembled and moved to another location if you later decide to change your site plan.

Modular Hales. Octa Hales can be attached to each other in a row or a triangle with an interior courtyard or living area with a roof. Attached octagons can be the same size or a combination of sizes. You can attach square Pod Hales or Hip Hales.

For insulated homes for hot and cold climates, the customer determines R-Values required and chooses from insulation options.
